Access - Programming

Course Details

A thorough understanding of Microsoft Access Databases to an Advanced Level will be necessary. This course uses Macros as a programming feature, and includes an introduction to the versatile Visual Basic Language.


On our courses both keyboard and mouse skills are taught. All courses are instructor led and include comprehensive notes.


DESIGN

  • Place Macros in Controls and their Event Properties, Conditional testing of events to change Macro Actions, Use multiple macros, debugging Macros using Step feature and Halting Macros.

VISUAL BASIC

  • The Role of Visual Basic over Macros, Event Procedures versus Top-down Modular. Designing Functions and Sub Procedures. Using Decision statements and Looping statements.

MODULE WINDOW

  • Declarations and Procedures, Toolbar, Debugging with Breakpoints and Stepping through Procedures. Using the Immediate Window
